Tucked away in Paulshof, Sandton you will find The Victorian Garden Organic Skincare and Body Therapy Salon – the first and only “Green Salon” in Sandton, Johannesburg. Situated within a  pretty garden bordering a Nature Reserve,   the salon was first opened in 1990 in Lonehill and is now run by outstanding therapist, Michelle Laing…..”

. Michelle trained at one of Johannesburg's top beauty acadamies and is one of very few therapists to have successfully compacted a two year full time training qualification into one year. A visit to Michelle's unique salon will transport you back to the Victorian Era of the 1800's and even further into the 16 th century in a time tunnel to the 1500's and the reign of the Tudor Queens of England. Treatment options comprise the use of organic products recreated from the Victorian era, and organic products recreated to original recipes made for the six famous Queens of England. We also offer you traditional African treatments using products from our African Indigenous Collection. Michelle's salon is unlike any other. It it is not a beauty salon but offers a selection of gorgeous and unusual de-stressing treatments created by The Victorian Garden Organic Skincare Company and based on French style Aromatherapy and Phytotherapy. All the treatments offered will transport you away from the 21 st century to a world of organic beauty and holistic healing. The Victorian Garden Salon offers you an experience unlike any other – it is an oasis in a world of stress, we invite you to slow down and forget for a while about the stresses of the world we live in today whilst you enjoy one of our unique treatments.

All products used in our Treatment Bouquet are hand crafted by The Victorian Garden Organic Skincare Company, in their own lab in Midrand, Johannesburg and not mass produced in a factory. Every ingredient within the products is sourced by this company wherever possible from Fair Trade suppliers. Victorian traditional herbs and flowers and “heirloom” plant extracts popular during the 16 th century are used within products, as are traditional African Indigenous plants. All packaging, bottling and designing and printing of labels is done in-house – resulting in high savings – the result of this is that product prices are extremely affordable for what is a world class product. Certified Organic ingredients are used where available, along with non Certified organic and natural ingredients. Overall product ingredients comprise 90% organic.

ORGANIC PHYTO FACIAL VG Signature Treatment

Our famous and unique French Phyto Massage comprises thorough cleansing of face, neck and décolletage areas, a gentle facial exfoliation, mist steam with fresh chopped herbs followed by a warm Phyto face and neck masque made with a variety of crushed herbs and flowers. This exotic treatment is finished with an exquisite one hour of massage including the face, décolletage, shoulders, neck, arms, hands and finally the head. Leaves the skin rejuvenated, smooth and firmed.

A unique African style massage combining The Victorian Garden organic products from our African Indigenous Collection with the Rungu – a unique East African massage tool made of natural Eucalyptus wood. This Rungu massage is a deep, friction type massage which promotes circulation, lymph drainage and a sense of deep relaxation and well being. It is very useful in relieving sore muscles.
